Description

The Legacy from Tales of Legendia

My favourite game at the moment lol.
The Legacy in the game is an enourmous ship with land on it. It's the main setting for the game.
I've heard the game is different compared to other Tales of; games. But Legendia is the only one I've played, so I can't really say for sure. Though the plot in the game is excellent.

Okay so...This took me like 40 hours lol. I started on Saturday and finished just about 20 minutes ago since it took like 10 minutes to save the file is 1.06GB holy shit thats the most I've ever had for a SAI file lol and when exiting SAI, cause it was lagging my computer to much it took like another 5 minutes.
This was all done on Paint Tool SAI. Once my mom buy the damn ram for the desktop I'll be using photoshop lol

This isn't something I normally draw. But I like it anyways, especially the front of the ship, I think I did my best there. The back was kind of rushed, and I began to panic lol. ..
I hope my perspective actually worked >w> I seemed kind of crappy in my opinon lol.

First off, I really love the colors for the sea (esp. compared to the work-in-progress). Very soft and magical~

Most of the clouds look pretty good, though a few here and there seem to lack volume; the two big ones at the bottom of the image could probably use a bit more shading, matching the shading on the Legacy. Also clouds would need some more cast shadow to show they're in the air and not floating on the water.

Another really useful tip is to throw in haze to show a sense of distance. There would probably be a TON of haze at the horizon, to the point where almost everything would be pale light blue, and then gradually things would get crisper and crisper in the front.

That said, I ~LOVE~ the detailing on the bow / Altar to the Sea. Nicely executed. <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/n/n…" width="15" height="15" alt="" title="Nod"/> Perhaps you could have done a few more crisp details to hint at trees, rather than just have it all be a green surface.

And just as a geeky aside, would've been neat to see the Bridge rising out in the middle of Raging Bay, j-just because... ¦P

Again, loooooovely tribute to ToL. Nerfies would be proud.
